How it works

Proven science. Real relief.

The Cove reset device tunes your dopamine system using precisely engineered vibration patterns. When you sit on the device, two synchronized vibrations create a traveling wave that moves up your spine and to your brain —activating mechanoreceptors and encouraging a natural dopamine release, even in the most suppressed systems.

In simpler terms: it helps your nervous system rebalance itself, naturally, for reduced anxiety, improved sleep, calmer and more stabilized mood, and enhanced focus.
How it works
The device uses mechanical stimulation—a safe signal the body already understands
Who can benefit
Children to adults with anxiety, sleep, or focus challenges may see improvements as soon as the first session
Why it's different
The device is non-invasive, non-pharmacological, non-habit forming and can be used anytime in your home

What to expect...

In your first session

You’ll feel a repeated two-second pulse up your spine as you sit straight on the device, with your feet flat on the floor. We recommend listening to one of our guided meditations to enhance the experience and outcomes.

The device delivers low-frequency mechanical signals (80Hz) through the spine, directly stimulating your brain’s mechanoreceptors to produce dopamine.

Most users describe a sense of calm or “mental reset” within minutes of completing their first 10-minute session, often lasting several hours.

Within two weeks

  • Using the device 5-7 times per week, many users report improved mood stability and stress response consistently through the day (not just within hours of a session)
  • Reduced anxiety and less overwhelm
  • Improved sleep onset

Within three+ weeks

  • Enhanced impulse control, including reduction of addictive/repetitive behaviors
  • Improved deep sleep levels, to feel more refreshed and clear
  • Sharper focus and concentration, for improved learning, retention, and task completion

Frequently asked questions

How does the device work?

The device uses low-frequency vibration (80 Hz) delivered through the seat and into the spine. This gentle, rhythmic stimulation activates mechanoreceptors—sensory nerve endings in the body that respond to touch and vibration.

These signals travel through the spinal cord to the brain, where they are processed in systems involved in sensory regulation, stress response, and reward/motivation pathways (including dopamine-related circuits). In simple terms, the brain is constantly adjusting its state based on incoming sensory input, and steady rhythmic input can help support a more balanced and regulated response.

This process is also linked to shifts in the autonomic nervous system, helping move the body away from a high-stress state and toward a more calm, steady baseline.
With consistent use, many people report feeling more calm, focused, and emotionally balanced throughout the day.

What does dopamine do?

Dopamine plays an important role in how the brain regulates motivation, reward, focus, and emotional balance. When dopamine signaling is out of balance, people may experience challenges like low motivation, restlessness, difficulty focusing, or heightened sensitivity to stress—all of which can feel similar to or overlap with anxiety. Supporting healthy, regulated dopamine activity is one way the brain helps maintain a more stable emotional state and improves resilience to stress over time.

Are there any contraindications?

Yes. The device is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, a history of seizures, or recent head, neck, or spinal injuries. If you have a medical condition or are under care, it’s always best to consult your healthcare provider before use.
The Cove brain reset device is generally well tolerated by users of all ages able to sit straight up unassisted and still on the device for a 10-minute session. Do not use if pregnant, if you have implanted electrical devices, active spinal injuries, seizure disorders, or other contraindications. Consult your physician if unsure or using other mental health protocols.
